Covid-19 Update Gymtro
I'm sure you will have seen the announcement from Boris Johnson earlier today with an update on the virus. As part of the next stage of containing the virus it has been advised for the public to self-contain where they are showing symptoms however there was a special mention for people in quarantine needing to exercise.
As clients, you are our main priority and therefore we have implemented an action plan below to ensure that we can remain open and still provide the best possible workout in a clean safe environment for those not affected.
OUR ACTION PLAN
WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED
An overview of important changes for the upcoming week Tuesday 17th March onwards:
We have designed a new program to allow each person to train with enough space within the WHO guidelines to avoid person to person contact (2m).
Equipment will temporarily no longer be shared and will be disinfected at the end of each session.
Sessions will NOT include sandbags/core bags, TRX, barbell pads or Mats due to the increased difficulty in sanitising this equipment, or activation (Glute) bands as they require person-to-person contact.
We will be reducing class sizes in Sweat to 6, to allow for more studio space and larger gaps between stations.
We will be increasing the time between classes so our teams can properly disinfect and sanitise the studio and equipment before the next class.
For those who are self-isolating, we will be running live home workouts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 18th March this week. These can be done from home and they will be posted in the Gymtro Members Facebook Group for members to do when they can. This will guarantee to keep your fitness levels up whilst keeping you sane if you do have to self-quarantine!
Gymtro will stay open as usual while continuing to ensure all equipment is efficiently and correctly sanitised with sessions numbers and times reduced. We all know there’s strength in numbers and ask you to join us in our commitment.
Finally, we would like to express how touched we are by your ongoing support for GymTro. As a small business we rely on our community to keep us going and pull together especially in tough times like these. Let’s keep positive and please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
